Virginia Politicians Want to Ban Casino Skill Games

Some Virginia legislative leaders are working to get language into a gambling bill at the last minute which would ban casino skill games. State businessman and NASCAR great Hermie Sadler slammed the politicians doing so, saying they would hurt small businesses and disregard their constitutional rights by doing so. Court Says Casino Skill Games are Slots

Now, the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court has ruled that video game machines are considered slot machines under Pennsylvania law. Some Casinos Pulling Skill Games Off Floors

Caesars’ first attempt to bring skill games to its Atlantic City casinos was apparently a flop, according to a report. The 21 games placed at Harrah’s Resort, Caesars and Bally’s have been pulled after they failed to generate enough revenue to cover vendor fees, according to Press of Atlantic City. Games such as “Danger Arena,” were rolled out last year in an attempt to draw millennials into casinos.
