Casino equipment maker International Game Technology Plc says it has reached what it called a “patent cross-licensing agreement” with one of its biggest market rivals, casino technology and lottery services provider Scientific Games Corp. International Game Technology (IGT), the new company formed by the recent merger of GTECH and Legacy IGT, is to provide technology for the new Niedersachsen Jackpot Wide Area Progressive (WAP) at Spielbanken Niedersachsen casinos in Germany. Under the agreement, which will feature 56 machines across 10 properties, IGT will work alongside Spielbanken Niedersachsen to provide the operator with tailor-made solutions for their players. Australian Gambling – THE Australian behind the darkest day in online poker history could avoid a life sentence in prison after becoming an informant for the FBI. Brisbane native Daniel Tzvetkoff, 30, was arrested in Las Vegas in 2010 for illegally laundering more than US$1 billion for online poker companies through his personal company Intabill. Intralot USA and Greek-owned Pariplay strike deal

The Intralot USA arm of Greek-owned gaming and lottery operator Intralot has entered into a new partnership with software provider Pariplay. Under the agreement, Pariplay will integrate its instant win and scratch games into thousands of Intralot’s TAP-IT video lottery terminals stationed across in the US in casinos in Ohio, Idaho and Washington DC.
