A new online gambling bill is making the rounds up on Capitol Hill, only this time we’re not as concerned as years gone past.  This latest effort (S 3322) was set in motion by Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton and bears eye popping title: The Prevention of Deceptive or Child-Targeted Advertising in Violation of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. A new report indicates a bill that would legalize Pennsylvania online gambling and poker will be back on the legislature’s agenda next month. The gambling expansion package that has been on the House floor since late last year appears to be coming off the sidelines. iGaming Business – South African officials have published a draft version of an online gambling bill ahead of the country’s expected legalisation of internet gaming. The Mondaq.com website reports that although there is unlikely to be swift legalisation of online gambling in South Africa, the introduction of the draft Remote Gambling Bill of 2014 is a step forward. Capitol Hill conservatives are bracing for a fight they do not want to fight: An online gambling ban, being pushed by Las Vegas mogul Sheldon Adelson.
