French operator PMU scores FFF partnership extension

iGaming Business – French online betting and gaming operator PMU has agreed a four-year extension to its partnership with the French Football Federation (FFF). The new agreement will extend a partnership that began in 2010, around the same time that PMU first launched its online sports betting service in France. As a result of the deal, PMU will continue to serve as a major partner of the FFF alongside Nike, GDF Suez and Credit Agricole. Last month, PMU also agreed a four-year extension to its sponsorship deal with Ligue 1 football champion Paris Saint-Germain. SOURCE

iGaming Business – French online betting and gaming operator PMU has signed a four-year extension to its sponsorship deal with Ligue 1 football champion Paris Saint-Germain. The operator has been a partner of the football club since 2011 and will take on a wider brief under the terms of the extended deal. French online betting operator in line with expectations

iGaming Business – French online betting and gaming operator PMU has reported that despite a year-on-year drop in sales during the first quarter of 2014, its activity in the period was “in line with expectations”. The operator reported total sales of €2.6 billion ($3.6 billion) for Q1 of 2014, a decrease of 3.4% on the previous year. PMU’s horseracing business suffered the most with an overall drop of 4.5% in sales to €2.4 billion. French horseracing sales fell 7.4% to €2.2 billion in the quarter but this was slightly offset by a 45.6% jump to €192.1 million in international sales….
