This coming after the seeming consolidation of poker to the Horseshoe for Caesars properties, as they move their beloved World Series of Poker events to the redesigned venue. Now, the updated Venetian poker room will rise to the challenge, with some fifty tables spread across a 14,000 square foot layout. Nevada poker revenue held steady in March, despite a meaningful decline in the total number of poker rooms and tables compared to 2016, according to Nevada gaming regulators. While poker rooms in Nevada may be shrinking in number and size, they also appear to be becoming more efficient. In March 2016, the Nevada Gaming Control Board reported 71 total poker rooms and 655 poker tables in the state. Card Player – As a tribe moved to open a poker room in Idaho despite a state ban on poker, the governor and the attorney general filed a lawsuit to try to put a stop to it all.
