Another Hope for Mobile Indiana Sports Betting

After disagreement over the possibility of remote gambling, mobile Indiana sports betting is looking more and more like a real possibility. The state conference committee is reinserting provisions for the apps into the bill as it approaches the finish line. Disagreements across chambers primarily involved non-sports aspects of the bill concerning adjustments to casino licenses and location. As expected, most of Monday’s hearing orbited around those provisions. Mobile was one of the few sticking points within the sports betting language. CG Technologies Upgrades Mobile Sports Betting App

Operator CG Technologies has launched an upgrade to its mobile sports betting app that developers said increases the opportunities for customers to bet on games. CG Technologies CEO Lee Amaitis said the company, which operates race and sports books at eight Las Vegas resorts, generates roughly 60 percent of its wagers from its mobile wagering application. The company has operated mobile sports wagering since 2012 and has some 20,000 registered users. Last year, more than $3.5 billion was wagered in Nevada sports books.
