NBC – Securities regulators are investigating Charles Schwab and Merrill Lynch over whether they are doing enough to police their clients’ identities, sources said, a sign a crackdown on money-laundering is expanding, two sources told Reuters on Wednesday. Specifically, the regulators are looking into whether the brokerages missed red flags that could indicate attempts to move money illicitly or to feed proceeds from illegal activities into the financial system, the sources said. iGaming Business – US distributor KGM Gaming and gaming content developer Spin Games have successfully launched six new HTML games in the regulated New Jersey interactive gaming market. The six HTML5 games are part of the proprietary Video Poker Royale suite, which cinsists of Deuces Wild, Deuces Wild Elite, Double Double Regal Poker, Double Regal Poker and Regal Poker Deluxe. Casino Robbery Attempted in Montana
A 33-year-old woman is in jail accused of attempting a casino robbery in Butte, Montana at gunpoint. Police say Sylvia Ramirez Llamas entered the Lucky You casino, 3136 Busch St., late Friday night brandishing a handgun. Capt. Jerome McCarthy said Llamas threatened the clerk with the gun and demanded money. A patron of the casino tackled Llamas and wrestled the gun away from her, McCarthy said.
