MGM Resorts plans to announce that they have a buyer for their MGM Grand casino property in Las Vegas. That announcement is expected to come by the end of this year. When it comes to the debate over Ohio sports betting, two competing bills are awaiting votes in state legislature that may determine how the activity is regulated. While Governor Mike DeWine has expressed his support of legal betting on sports, efforts to make it into law are split over which state agency would be in charge. FanDuel in Indiana: GAN, a developer and supplier of enterprise-level B2B internet gaming software, services and online gaming content in the US, has broadened its existing agreement with FanDuel Group. The partnership now sees FanDuel taking GAN’s platform into Indiana for rapid deployment of account services for internet sports betting, following the start of internet gaming in the state earlier this month. FanDuel launched internet sports betting for residents of Indiana this week, following the parties obtaining all applicable regulatory consents. A lawsuit in Illinois accuses Harrah’s Casino in Joliet of violating the state’s Biometric Information Privacy Act. Nevada gaming regulators are moving to have Steve Wynn banned from holding a state gaming license. Mr. Wynn has been accused of committing a series of sexual misconduct acts against his employees. The Nevada Gaming Control Board lodged a 23-page complaint on Monday alleging Wynn “is not a person of good character, honesty, and/or integrity” and that he is “unsuitable” The complaint cites numerous allegations about Wynn’s sexually harassment of employees who were dependent on him for their livelihood, and that he covered it up through confidential, sometimes large financial settlements.
