After a week of positive news surrounding the backroom negotiations between leadership in the House and Senate, it appeared a light had finally appeared at the end of the state’s budget tunnel. After months of negotiations, Pennsylvania’s budget was coming into focus, with the passage of the long-awaited funding bill expected at any moment. And then on Wednesday, the wheels came off. On a day when a vote on a budget package was anticipated, the House floor descended into chaos, and the legislature adjourned until October 16….

The Perkins-based Iowa Tribe has obtained a license from the Isle of Man that will allow it to offer real-money internet gaming in many foreign countries and says it has a new deal to to partner with an “internationally known brand.” The tribe and its partner Universal Entertainment Group could get a boost from this yet-to be named brand to finally launch Pokertribe.com. The tribe now says it will be able to launch the site sometime this…

Today, I’m at The Venetian checking out the first installation of Fortune Cup. This is…
