NetEnt has entered into a licence agreement with Amaya-owned online gaming brand PokerStars in the US state of New Jersey. Net Entertainment Shows Big Profit in 2015

NetEnt has cited a continued growing demand for digital casino entertainment and its products as amongst the main reasons behind widespread year-on-year financial growth across the business during the 12 months through to December 31, 2015. Full-year revenue amounted to SEK1.1 billion (€119.5 million/$134.9 million), which represents an increase of 33% on the SEK851.7 million achieved in the previous year. Lithuania Blacklists and Blocks More Gambling Websites

The Gaming Control Authority under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania has announced that it has blocked further online gambling websites that do not adhere to new regulations introduced in the country earlier this year. In January, the Lithuanian regulator pledged to take “strict legal action” against operators that organise remote gambling illegally. Amaya Appeals Kentucky $870 Million Fine

Canadian gaming giant Amaya has filed a notice of appeal against a Kentucky court order to pay $870 million (€794 million) in damages for subsidiary PokerStars’ allegedly illegal operations in the US state between 2006 and 2011.
