Carbon Poker Shutting Down Affiliate Program

Carbon Poker sent emails out to affiliates on Friday with bad news.  The site decided to stop offering its affiliate program effective June 1.  There is a silver lining.  Action given by players referred to Carbon Poker before June 1 will continue to generate revenue share for their affiliates. Apple Gets Gambling Apps Back in Sweden

Swedish operator association Branschföreningen för Onlinespel (BOS) has confirmed that Apple is to reinstate gambling applications for a number of major operators to the country’s App Store. As reported by iGaming Business, technology giant Apple in March removed the apps due to complaints from the Lotteriinspektionen national regulatory body. The regulator advised Apple that unlicensed operators were targeting players in Sweden. However, an intervention from the BOS will now enable Apple to reinstate the apps for players in the country to access. New Jersey Online Gaming Continues to Grow

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) has revealed that the US state’s regulated online gaming market experienced further year-on-year growth during the month of April. Online gaming revenue from operators in the state amounted to $12.6 million (€11 million), up 11% on the same month last year but slightly down on the $13.2 million achieved in March of this year.
