Yggdrasil launches in Belgium and Estonia with Unibet
Online games developer Yggdrasil Gaming has gone live with internet gaming operator Unibet in the regulated markets of Belgium and Estonia. The move comes after Unibet last month integrated Yggdrasil’s entire casino games portfolio, which will now be launched in the two countries. The portfolio includes a range of casino games such as high-roller video slots Jokerizer and Winterberries. Tribal online poker service launches in California this week
iGaming Business – The Santa Ysabel Tribal Development Corporation has announced that it will launch its real-money online poker service in the US state of California next week, according to various reports. Dave Vialpando, chairman of the commission, said that the Iipay Nation of Santa Ysabel would be “flipping the switch on for real-money sometime between [August] 26 and 28”. Betdigital awarded UK remote gambling licence
iGaming Business – Content and systems developer Betdigital has become one of the first companies to be awarded a Remote Gambling Software Operating Licence by the UK Gambling Commission. The award confirms that Betdigital has the necessary licensing to meet the terms of the new Gambling (Licensing and Advertising) Act that will come into effect in the UK this October. New Jersey online poker revenue grows in July
iGaming Business – The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) has reported that the US state experienced an increase in online poker revenue in July, ending three consecutive months of declining sales figures. The three licensed online poker operators in New Jersey took just under $2.2 million (€1.6 million) in July, which was up 4.8% on the $2 million generated in the previous month. Bet365 Accused of Misleading Australian Punters
Bet365 has been accused of misleading Australian punters with various offers. Now, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has launched court action against them. According to the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper, the watchdog said that Bet365 did not properly display the terms and conditions attached to offers of free bets and deposit bonuses. The ACCC said that in order to be eligible for the offers, customers needed to risk their deposit, gamble large amounts and bet on high-risk transactions.
