LA Times – After five years of disagreements, 13 California Indian tribes said Tuesday they have reached a compromise on legislation that would legalize Internet poker in the state. Until recently, tribes including the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians disagreed with other casino operators, including the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians, but both sides now support a bill that would only allow current operators of a brick and mortar poker casino to run games on the Internet. iGaming Business – Server-based gaming specialist Inspired Gaming as expanded its virtual sports service into Colombia after agreeing a deal with GENTEC, part of the Betancur Group. Colombian law does not currently allow for virtual sports betting in the country, but an expected change in regulation later this year will enable Inspired to enter the market. Inspired will provide GENTEC with its range of virtual sports, as well as its bet management system and EPOS solution BetBOX via local distributor Algazara. Las Vegas Review Journal – A draft bill that would legalize poker playing on the Internet is being floated on Capitol Hill, but Nevada Sen. Dean Heller said Tuesday there is no sign that it will move in any direction. Heller said he has been briefed on the bill by Caesars Entertainment Corp. lobbyist Haley Barbour.
