Scientific Games has announced that the company is splitting their lottery operations from their slots and igaming divisions. The lottery group will operate as a stand-alone company and retain the Scientific Games name. Meanwhile, the Gaming and iGaming divisions have split-off and rebranded as Light & Wonder. In 2021, gambling in America set an all-time revenue record for the commercial gaming industry. Revenue reached $53 billion, according to our friends at the American Gaming Association.
