French sportsbetting operator reports 40% rise in gross revenues

France FrenchFrom iGaming Business – The French sportsbetting operator and B2B platform provider France Pari has reported a 40% rise in gross gaming revenues (GGR) to €1m and a 20% rise in overall revenues to €5m in the first half of 2013.

The growth was driven by an increase in stakes recorded and improved margins on the company’s france-pari.fr website and those taken by Sportnco, its odds and risk-management B2B division.

Sportnco clients NetBet (iTechsoft) and Joa Online enjoyed 130% and 170% growth respectively during the period, the group said.

“The online sportsbetting sector is now steadily growing in France, delivering an average 12% quarterly GGR growth over the last six quarters on an annual basis. The past three years have not been easy but we are seeing our hard work pay off, establishing Sportnco as the leading provider of sportsbetting platforms in France. We are extremely happy to deliver profitable ventures to our B2B customers that have all continued operating with us on the French market, where many operators have quit over the last two years. On top of it, the GGR performances that we have delivered to them in this first half of 2013 are all way above the 11% market growth, which gives us strong confidence for the future,” commented Herve Schlosser, chairman and chief executive of France Pari.
