Intralot signs OPAP contract

From iGaming Business – Integrated gaming and transaction processing systems developer and supplier Intralot SA has signed a deal to provide Greek gaming operator OPAP SA with a new central system.

Athens-based Intralot stated that the five-year agreement, which will also see it supply the operator with support and maintenance services, will see it commission and install a new central system featuring all of the necessary software in preparation for the start of live operations and user licences in Greece and Cyprus.

“The duration of this agreement is for two years with three one-year renewal options,” read a statement from Intralot.

“Intralot has also signed an extension to its current contract with OPAP until the commencement of the new system. The combined value of the implementation contract and the services agreement contract is €101 million ($131 million), whereas the value of the agreement for the provision of the maintenance and technological support services of OPAP agencies’ infrastructure is a total of €46 million ($59.1 million) for the first two years declining by €1 million ($1.2 million) per annum for each subsequent annual extension.”
