Late last month, we reported on several violations of Massachusetts sports betting regulations from three operators in the state. Nevada Gaming Revenue Record Hits 23 Months

They’ve kept it going for nearly two years! Yes, January marked the 23rd consecutive month that Nevada gaming revenue streak has hit the billion dollar mark, according to a report from the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Now, let’s just hope that our reporting this doesn’t jinx them! The state reported revenue for the first month of 2023 to be $1.27 billion, which was nearly a 20% jump from the $1.07 billion they reported in January of last year. New York Online Gambling Bill Proposed

The man responsible for sports betting in his state is back at work. Senator Joseph Addabbo has rolled out a New York online gambling bill that would regulate web based casino games, including slot machines. The bill also has provisions for live dealer and table games, as well as for online poker. In true New York fashion, however, Addabbo’s bill proposes a tax rate of over 30% to be imposed on operators.
