September was an amazing month for sports betting in New York, which was the first month of the NFL season. The kickoff of professional football translated to damn near a $1.3 billion handle for the state, which was almost 45% higher than August. All Net Resort Las Vegas Expected in 2025

There are quite a few casinos and resorts planned for Las Vegas in the next few years. And now, you can add the All Net Resort name to that list. That project has found some new life via additional funding, as is now expected to open sometime in 2025. US Gambling Makes Nearly $5 Billion in August

It’s been an amazing run for US gambling revenue, with Nevada on a streak of billion dollar months. We just reported that New Jersey is showing increased profits from last year to this year. So it should be no surprise that the country as a whole is raking in record gaming profits. Numbers provided by the American Gaming Association and their Commercial Gaming Revenue Tracker show that, as a whole, US gambling generated $4.9 billion in the month of August. Horseshoe Las Vegas Officially Opens in December

We’ve known that Bally’s Casino will be rebranded as the Horseshoe Las Vegas for some time now. In fact, in our last This Week in Gambling show we reported from the Strip, where we showed some of the transition well underway. New Jersey Gambling Revenue Gets a Bump

Nevada isn’t the only state with gaming that’s doing well. New Jersey gambling revenue is also rocking, despite the threats of economic issues on the horizon. In fact, the state took in $485 million last month, which was a 7% increase year over year. The numbers were reported by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, and they show that casinos and horse tracks offering sports betting lead the charge. The nine casinos in the state  contributed over $250 million as well, which was also a growth of over 1%. So far this year, Atlantic City casinos have generated over…
