Well, that didn’t take long did it?! The political force behind the bill which regulated mobile sports bets, State Senator Joseph Addabbo, is now pushing a new bill seeking to do the same for online casinos.However, unlike the somewhat absurd tax rate of 51% imposed on mobile sports books, web based casinos would only be taxed at 25%. California Sports Betting has Support of Public

Should the people get what the people want? If so, California sports betting could become a real thing! The University of California’s Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies recently collaborated with the Los Angeles Times to find out what citizens really wanted when it comes to betting on sports. Massachusetts & Oklahoma Sports Betting Updates

Anyone waiting for Oklahoma sports betting just got a ray hope last week. A bill to bring the activity passed from a House Committee recently, and aims to legalize wagers on sporting events at state tribal casinos. This proposed legislation, House Bill 3008, stops short of regulating mobile betting. All transactions would be required to take place in person at a casino. The Bill was proposed by Representative Ken Luttrell, a Republican, who believes Oklahoma sports betting would be good economically for both the state and tribal gaming. Caesars to Sell a Casino on Las Vegas Strip

We’ve reported on the big changes coming to the Las Vegas Strip over the past few weeks, and now you can add another name to that list of casinos. We just don’t know what that will be yet. The Chief Executive Officer of Caesars Entertainment, Tom Reeg, recently confirmed that the company is looking to move one of their casinos on Las Vegas Boulevard, but he did not reveal which property that would be.
