In 2021, gambling in America set an all-time revenue record for the commercial gaming industry. Revenue reached $53 billion, according to our friends at the American Gaming Association. This total shatters the 2019 industry record of just under $44 billion by more than 20%. 80 Million Transactions for Betting on Super Bowl

There were just over 35 million transactions for betting on the Super Bowl last year. In 2022, that number more than doubled to just north of 80 million. This according to GeoComply, the company providing geolocation services for the industry. What a difference a year makes, huh? Yes, there were restrictions from the pandemic still in place last year. No More Las Vegas Face Masks!

Yea, you read that headline correctly! There is no longer a Las Vegas face mask requirement for guests at casinos! But before you get too excited and starting booking your next trip, there are a few caveats which everyone should keep in mind. Tropicana Las Vegas Could be Demolished

Many of you already know that Bally’s Corporation agreed to purchase the Tropicana Las Vegas last April. The sale came to just over $300 million. That agreement was really for the land on the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard than it was the deteriorating hotel and casino. The non-land assets were another $150 million. Now, with the deal set to finalize, Bally’s has publicly stated that they re considering many options for the property.
