The head-honcho at Wynn Resorts says he wants to see the Las Vegas Strip open in early May… at least partially. Matt Maddox said that some resorts should open next month with “reduced occupancy” and various social distancing and sanitation protocols. Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak order all casinos closed for 30 days due to Coronavirus health concerns in mid-March. He later extended the closure end the end of April. Tribal Casino Closures Lose 300k Jobs and $4 Billion

We knew that Tribal casino closures were taking a tremendous toll on people and the economy, and now we have the numbers. The Coronavirus has put nearly 300,000 people employed by Tribal gaming out of work at a cost of over $4 billion in lost revenue.
