Similar to the US airline industry, casinos need help in America and are now asking Congress for emergency finances as the gambling industry is taking huge losses during the Coronavirus outbreak. Las Vegas and other tourist destinations are hemorrhaging cash. The requested aid could come in the form of a comprehensive bailout package, similar to what lawmakers might give to the airlines, cruise companies and the hospitality industry. Other possibilities include direct cash payments, deferred taxes or special bankruptcy protections, The Washington Post reports, citing two people with knowledge of the conversations who were not authorized to speak publicly. The Governor of Nevada ordered all casinos in the Silver State to shutter their operations by 11:59pm on March 17. Colorado Sports Betting Gets DraftKings & FanDuel

FanDuel and DraftKings will both be a part of the Colorado sports betting landscape via an agreement with Twin River Worldwide Holdings, who recently acquired three casinos in Black Hawk from Affinity Gaming. Colorado could be the 5th state launch for FanDuel, which already operates in Indiana, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. It would be the sixth for DraftKings Sportsbook, which also operates in the previously mentioned states and New Hampshire.
