The Stars Group today announced that it entered into an agreement with Penn National Gaming that grants it options to operate online betting and gaming in states where Penn currently owns or operates casino properties. Iowa sports betting will soon be live at 18 of Iowa’s 19 land based casinos, with at least 15 of them having mobile apps! The Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission met Tuesday to approve a final set of rules and regulations for sports wagering and approve license applications made by state-regulated casinos.  The rules allow for bets on professional, collegiate and international sporting events. Governor Ricardo Rosselló signed on July 29 the Betting Committee Act , which means Puerto Rico legalizes sports betting, according to the official press release. The industry is estimated to reach more than $3 billion by 2023. “By signing this law, we are getting ready to witness the potential it provides to transform Puerto Rico into a vanguard jurisdiction while benefiting the local economy.
