FanDuel Football Bet of $82K Paid After ‘Glitch’ in System
A player who placed a FanDuel football bet after a glitch promised him 750-1 odds will be paid. This after the company’s automated system mistakenly generated long odds on the final moments of the Denver Broncos-Oakland Raiders game Sunday. The company initially refused to pay the bet placed at its sports book at the Meadowlands Racetrack, saying it isn’t obligated to pay for obvious errors. Arkansas Sports Betting a Possibility
A constitutional amendment that would authorize Arkansas sports betting at four casinos is being considered in the state, but it looks as if New York will miss regulating sports wagering until next year. The Secretary of State of Arkansas has confirmed that the initiative will feature on the November 6 general election ballot, despite Governor Asa Hutchinson having declared his opposition to the effort.
