The Gaming Control Board met last week and approved proposed Pennsylvania sports betting regulations, but they won’t be up and running by the September start of the National Football League season. Concerned that expanded sports betting will bring additional costs for ensuring their games are on the up-and-up, college athletics departments are looking for a way to get a piece of the action.
