FanDuel Online Casino to Launch in New Jersey
A FanDuel online casino is headed tor New Jersey! The FanDuel Group says it hopes to launch online sports betting and internet betting in the state before the start of football season. The company is mostly owned by Ireland-based Paddy Power Betfair. FanDuel will provide online sports betting with the license of the Meadowlands Racetrack, and internet gambling through its licensing affiliation with Atlantic City’s Golden Nugget casino. Pennsylvania Online Gambling: Nine Applications Filed
Pennsylvania Online Gambling is finally showing some life! Nine Pennsylvania casino owners applied for licenses to operate casino-style gambling online. You could soon play slot machines, poker and casino style games right from your computer or smart phone. The nine casino operators, including Hollywood Casino here in the Susquehanna Valley, paid $10 million each for the online license. The Pennsylvania gaming control board said the applications came in ahead of Monday’s deadline. Ohio Sports Betting Bill Debuts
Ohio sports betting could become a reality. Two Ohio State Senators drafted a bill that with one sentence begins what is likely to be a high stakes, high volume debate. “It is the intent of the General Assembly to develop and enact legislation legalizing sports wagering,” the bill reads. With that, Senator John Eklund, who represents part of Geauga County dipped Ohio’s toe in the water of a sports wagering.
