Las Vegas Visitors Breaks Record at 3.7 Million

Las Vegas visitors rose in March more than in any other month in its history, thanks to college basketball tournaments, car races and conventions. The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority reported that 3.7 million people came to town last month, up 4.3 percent from March 2013. Tourism officials say convention attendance was up 21 percent, mainly because the CONEXPO-CON/AGG construction convention. The event happens every three years and drew nearly 130,000 people. More Full Tilt Poker Payments Coming by End of May

Caesars Loses $1.7 Billion in Q4 of 2014

Card Player – Caesars Entertainment Corp. said this week that it lost $1.756 billion in the fourth quarter of last year, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. Atlantic City was largely to blame, according to the report. The massive loss was posted after the company saw more than $2 billion in revenue during the period, which ended on Dec. 31. California: Still a Chance for Online Poker in 2014

Poker News – California Assemblyman Isadore Hall told Tribal leaders and gaming interests at Thursday’s iGaming Legislative Symposium in Sacramento that he believes there is still a chance for Internet poker legislation to pass in the Golden State during 2014. He also indicated that the Assembly would be holding an informational hearing on the issue in the next few weeks.
