The first month of full-scale Delaware sports betting exceeded the state’s expectations and resulted in approximately $1 million in revenue off of more than $7 million wagered in June, according to recently released revenue numbers. Delaware was the first state to begin offering sports betting after the United States Supreme Court ruled in May that the federal ban on state-sponsored sports betting was unconstitutional. Delaware to Launch Sports Betting

It looks like we can plan for Delaware sports betting after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned a federal prohibition on as unconstitutional under the 10th Amendment. Delaware is poised to become the first state to legalise sports betting in the wake of this week’s US Supreme Court ruling, with plans to launch as early as June. On Tuesday, the Supreme Court voted to repeal a federal ban on sports betting in the country, allowing states across the US to individually legalise such activities.
