Facebook reports mobile advertising boost

From iGaming Business – Facebook’s quarterly financial results have been boosted by a surge in mobile advertising at the social networking website. Facebook said that mobile revenues of $656m (€505m) represented 41% of advertising revenues in the second quarter of 2013, which was up from 30% in the previous quarter. Facebook looks at mobile game publishing

From iGaming Business Social networking website Facebook is reportedly considering expanding its operations in the mobile gaming sector. According to Techcrunch, Facebook has been working with a number of small mobile game developers after generating more than $100 million (€76.75 million) per quarter from virtual currency transactions inside social games.
