Nevada Gaming Revenue Drops Below $1 Billion

Gaming revenue in the state of Nevada fell below $1 billion for the first time this year when the April numbers came in at just over $936 million. Total revenue for the stats was down 1.8% from last year. Most of the states revenue is derived from slot machine play, which accounted for $658.8 million of the total gaming revenue. The Gambling Authority has revealed that gross gaming Denmark gaming revenue increased from DKK2.045 billion (€273 million/$375 million) in 2012 to DKK2.375 billion in 2013 despite a sharp fall in online poker revenue. Sky Bet, the sports betting division of TV conglomerate Sky, has posted a 20% year-on-year rise in gaming revenue to £32 million (€37.9 million/$51.9 million) for the three months until the end of September 2013.
