Net Entertainment reports record turnover in 2013
iGaming Business – Online casino games provider Net Entertainment has cited the effect of earlier investments as the reason behind year-on-year revenue increase to record levels in the 12 months through to December 31, 2013. The firm posted record full-year revenue of SEK630.7 million (€71.6 million/$97.9 million), a 19.8% increase on the SEK536.7 million achieved in the previous year. Operating profit for the year grew from SEK153.1 million in 2012 to SEK179.7 million in 2013, while profit after tax amounted to SEK167.1 million, up from SEK136.1 million in the previous year. Net Entertainment agrees to William Hill partnership
iGaming Business – Online casino game provider Net Entertainment has agreed a deal to supply a range of desktop and mobile titles to UK bookmaker William Hill. Under the agreement, William Hill will now distribute the titles over its online casino network. Net Entertainment to take tax appeal to court
iGaming Business – Net Entertainment has vowed to take its battle with Swedish Tax Agency to the country’s Administrative Court after the authority rejected an appeal by the digital gaming supplier. In May, Net Entertainment launched an appeal after the regulator imposed additional taxes of SEK92.1 million (€10.6 million/$14 million) on the company following an audit of its operations from 2007 to 2010. Net Entertainment inks Lottomatica deal
From iGaming Business Online gambling software developer Net Entertainment AB has signed a license agreement that will see its casino games made available to Italian operator Lottomatica Scommesse Srl via the Lottomatica.it and Totosi.it domains. Stockholm-based Net Entertainment stated that the deal will see it deliver ‘a wide range of casino games’ to Lottomatica for use in its regulated Italian online businesses.
