New Jersey online poker collectively suffered their worst January on record in terms of revenue since the market launched more than five years ago, according to figures released last week by the Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE). Borgata Poker, powered by PartyPoker, has announced the inaugural New Jersey Online Poker Championship, a 10-tournament series scheduled to kick off in April. The series is tentatively scheduled for April 19-27, with $500,000 in guarantees, including a $200,000 main event with a $50,000 first-place prize. The first event will be a $50,000 freeroll. New Jersey Online Gambling Regulations Move Forward

From Poker News The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement will publish a draft of proposed Internet gambling regulations in the New Jersey Register on June 3, opening a 60-day period for public comment. In advance of the official publication, the draft regulations already are up on the Division’s website.
