Venetian Macau to Host IIFA 2013

The International Indian Film Academy Awards, IIFA, this year are being held in the Venetian in China, which is owned by the American casino conglomerate Las Vegas Sands and is modeled on The Venetian Las Vegas. The Venetian in Macau is not only the largest casino in the world, but also the sixth largest building by floor area. This 10,500,000 square feet resort is the largest single structure in the Asian hotel building sector.

The Venetian Macau is a hotel and casino resort in Macau, China owned by the American Las Vegas Sands company. The 39-story structure on Macau’s Cotai Strip has 10,500,000-square-foot of floor space, and is modeled on its sister casino resort The Venetian Las Vegas.

There are over two thousand residential suites between floors 7 and 38. The most exclusive and luxurious suite is the Presidente Suite, which is a 12 bay suite with 4 bedrooms. It is the second-largest casino in the world, the largest single structure hotel in Asia, and the tenth-largest building in the world by floor area.
