New Orleans Casinos Generate More Than State
How ya’ll are? Well, New Orleans casinos seem to be doing just fine! As the world moves to regain some normalcy, gambling in The Big Easy is outrunning the rest of the state. Gambling win across Louisiana was just shy of $230 million in the month of May, which includes the casinos in the New Orleans area, racinos, and the 10 riverboat casinos across the state. Attempted Robbery at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas
When will people ever learn that they can’t beat the house? Another person tried a robbery at the Cosmopolitan recently, but like so many would-be thieves before him, it didn’t work out the way he had hoped. The Las Vegas Casinos That Still Remain Closed
Even though the Governor of Nevada lifted COVID restrictions, capacity limits, and social distancing, a small group of Las Vegas casinos still remained closed… and most likely will stay that way for another six months to a year. Word from Texas Station and Fiesta Rancho is that the properties will remain shuttered for another six months at minimum. The closure could be longer, but you should not expect these resorts to re-open before 2022. It’s worse news for Fiesta Henderson, as there are no reopening plans in place at this time. The word is that the property will remain closed…
