Las Vegas Casino Workers Ready for a Full Open

In what may be a no-brainer, Las Vegas casino workers are excited about the likelihood of the city returning to full capacity by the start of next month. The Governor recently announced that June 1st was the target date for 100% occupancy at gambling establishments. The Vegas Strip has seen some amazing changes over the last year or so. Casinos have been forced to adjust to capacity limits. Those limits make it extremely difficult for not only casinos, but bars, restaurants and shows to make a profit. If full capacity is allowed by June 1st, it seems tourists are divided…

The Nevada Gaming Control Board, along with requirements from Clark County, says that casinos will be allowed to go to 100% capacity when at least 60% of state residents have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine. Right now, that number stands at just 39%. “We are focused on reaching 60% so we can open to 100%…” said Virginia Valentine,…

For the first time since February of 2020, the Nevada gaming win has topped $1 billion. This is yet another strong indication that the state is recovering strongly from the pandemic. The state announced plans to raise the…
