Indiana Sports Betting Continues to Explode

Indiana sports betting has been kicking ass with as another record month of revenue in October. Sports books in the state measured $230 million last month, according to data from the Gaming Commission. Even in the face of the pandemic there were new highs in revenue and handle as colleges and professional teams played a more normal sports schedule. The previous one-month high was $207 million in September. Analysts say the October handle is up more than 150% from October 2019’s level of $92 million. Get ready, Sin City! A Betfred sportsbook is being build inside the new Virgin Las Vegas hotel where the old Hard Rock Casino stood. The facility will be part of the Mohegan Sun Casino Las Vegas. The book will come complete with luxury seating, a state-of-the-art video wall, and over-the-counter wagering. It will also be the fourth American sportsbook for the company.
