Aria and Mandalay Bay Violations of Face Mask Order
Las Vegas Strip casinos Aria and Mandalay Bay have both been found to have violations of the state face mask order, according to Clark County officials. Only 38 businesses were found in violation of the mask order and authorities issued notices meant to educate the staff on how to properly follow the directive. The businesses that were put on notice for face-covering violations included Aria Resort and Casino, where customers were seen without masks and not social distancing, KSNV reports. Borgata Reopen Scheduled for July 26th
New Jersey will get it’s biggest casino back in just over a week, as a Borgata reopen has been announced. The property will reopen to the general public on Sunday, July 26th following the Atlantic City closure earlier this year due to the Coronavirus crisis. Tropicana Las Vegas Sets September Reopen Date
While many casinos on The Strip are welcoming guests back, the Tropicana Las Vegas will not open it’s doors until late summer. Parent company Penn National Gaming announced that the casino is officially set to reopen September 1st at 10am. Like with other Nevada casinos, the crowd on the gaming floor will be restricted to 50 percent of the capacity, as determined by building and fire officials. Visitors will see other health and safety precautions in place, too. Among these are the required wearing of face masks, except when eating meals or consuming beverages. Circa Casino to Feature Pool Amphitheater
The Circa Las Vegas Casino in downtown Las Vegas is set to open on October 28th and will feature a multi-level pool amphitheater. Calling it the Stadium Swim, the pool will be open 365 days a year and overlook the downtown Las Vegas area as well as the Strip. The venue will also feature Ultraviolet Ligh sanitation and water-recirculation patterns, according to a release. Las Vegas Heat Wave May Close Pools
The Coronavirus couldn’t keep the city closed, but the current Las Vegas heat wave may keep guests out of pools. Temperatures in Nevada have soared to more than 110 degrees in the valley. Meanwhile, Governor Sisolak strongly urged people at public pools to follow the state’s directive to wear face coverings. Bally’s Reopen Planned for July 23rd
Plans have been announced for the Bally’s reopen on the 23rd of this month, according to Caesars Entertainment. If all goes as planned, the hotel and casino will welcome guests back beginning at 10am.
