Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) became the latest member of Congress to put forth specific suggestions for Federal sports betting regulations in a memo first provided to ESPN. Ohio sports betting appears to be off the table. Fans hoping to bet will likely not be able to do so lawfully this year. Ohio Senate President Larry Obhof said Senate Bill 316, which would legalize sports gambling, will be vetted in a committee after the November election.
