Sahara Las Vegas Fined for Coronavirus Violations

Last week we told you that the Nevada Gaming Control Board wanted to start issuing fines for COVID-19 health violations, and now the Sahara Las Vegas casino is in their crosshairs. According to the Control Board, the Sahara had four breaches of emergency health and safety guidelines related to the Coronavirus outbreak. The Palms Casino and Texas Station May Not Reopen

Some Las Vegas icons may not survive the Coronavirus shutdown, as Red Rock Resorts announced their Palms Casino, as well as Texas Station, Fiesta Henderson and Fiesta Rancho properties may not reopen. Order Extends Nevada Coronavirus Directives

Originally set to expire at the end of June, then pushed to July 31st, another Executive Order has been signed that will extend Nevada Coronavirus directives and mandates indefinitely. Governor Sisolak extended several COVID-19 related emergency directives last week, including limits on the size of public gatherings and a half-capacity restriction on indoor business occupancy.
