iGaming Business – Iceland Bingo, the online bingo venture by UK frozen food store chain Iceland, is to launch a new television marketing campaign due to run from September 25 until November 3. Although details of the campaign are yet to be confirmed, marketing experts believe it will follow other online bingo marketing projects and target women. For its frozen food store adverts, Iceland is best known for its “That’s why mums go to Iceland” tagline and “Mums love it” original slogan – both of which could feature in a women-focused television campaign. iGaming Business – British server-based gaming specialist Inspired Gaming has confirmed igaming operator and platform provider Microgame as its latest partner in Italy. Under the agreement, Inspired will supply virtual sports to Microgame’s online, mobile and land-based platforms. Microgame currently serves as a content provider to over 30 operators Italy. Venture Beat – Real Deal Interactive is coming out of stealth today as a mobile-first social casino gaming company. The Palo Alto, Calif.-based company has created a mobile gaming platform that it is licensing to third-party game publishers. L.A. Police raid Internet cafe over suspected illegal gambling

L.A. Times – Los Angeles police arrested 23 people on misdemeanor charges in a raid on a Van Nuys Internet cafe suspected of hosting an illegal gambling operation, the LAPD said Friday.
