Tulsa World – The Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribe is betting on the outcome of a federal lawsuit to re-establish its Internet gambling website. The tribe, based in Concho, north of El Reno, wants to operate pokertribes.com with international players, which the state agreed to under its gaming compact. But the U.S. Department of the Interior put a stop to it last month. The site is currently inactive. SF Gate – The past year has seen the re-emergence of online poker in Nevada, New Jersey and Delaware, and some legal experts say California won’t be far behind. “I don’t have any doubt we’ll have legal online poker in California,” says Whittier Law School Professor I. Press of Atlantic City – PokerStars, the world’s largest online poker website, says it is seeking to offer online gambling in other states even as it continues pursuing a license to do it in New Jersey. Card Player – This week, the Golden Nugget Atlantic City opened its brand new poker room, according to NorthJersey.com. The casino had closed its poker room earlier this year. According to the report, the Golden Nugget’s new card room is located “in a luxurious setting in the Main Atrium.” The room has the standard hours of never closing. The 10-table room is on the Bravo Poker app. The casino is involved with the online gambling business in New Jersey, but has yet to offer real-money online poker.
