Alderney regulator and Fifa subsidiary sign Memorandum of Understanding
iGaming Business – The Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) regulatory body has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Early Warning System, a subsidiary of the Fifa international football governing body. The agreement has been activated ahead of this summer’s 2014 Fifa World Cup national team tournament. Belgian National Lottery reaffirms legal right to offer sports betting
Gaming Intelligence – The Belgian National Lottery (Loterie Nationale) has reiterated that it is legally entitled to continue to offer its sports betting offering to customers in Belgium, despite the cancellation last week of a royal decree relating to the offering. Belgium’s Council of State last week cancelled the royal decree concerning the provision of sports betting services by the state-owned Loterie Nationale following a legal challenge by private licensed operators.
