Earnings from the regulated US sports betting market could be over $3 billion for 2021. This according to a report from VIXIO Gambling Compliance. Despite that bit of good news, however, overall income from gaming was down for the state year-on-year due to the pandemic. It’s been over two years since Louisiana fantasy sports betting was approved. In the time since then, state lawmakers have set the tax rates and the regulatory process.
