French Online Betting Operator Continues to Grow

French online bettingFrench online betting operator and platform supplier France Pari has recorded more than €4m in revenues during the first three months of 2014, generating EBITDA of €150,000 and net results of €80,000, the group said in a statement on Tuesday.

The performance was achieved thanks to a 70% rise in France Pari’s operator activities and 87% rise in revenues for Sportnco, France Pari’s B2B division.

The company’s focus on mobile will continue in the coming weeks, with the launch of France Pari’s iPhone app planned for this week and for its B2B clients pencilled in for the second quarter.

France Pari stakes were up 80% to €3.5m on the same period in 2013, live and mobile betting were the main drivers of the growth, “with mobile representing almost 15% of the stakes and 30% of the connections.

With a gross margin rate of 20.2%, the gross gaming revenues of the quarter amounts to €725,000” the group said. Horse racing pari mutuel stakes were flat at €300,000 and their gross margin rate was 23.2%.

Sportnco’s clients in France include NetBet, PMU subsidiary Genybet and JOAonline, working alongside France Pari. The four platforms recorded €12m in stakes and €2.5m in gross gaming revenues.
