LVFH enters gaming software licensing deal with PokerTek

mobileiGaming Business – Electronic table games solutions specialist PokerTek has entered into a software licensing agreement with gaming software provider Las Vegas From Home.com (LVFH) to offer the latter’s new HTML5 casino and poker games to its customers.

Under the deal, LVFH will provide PokerTek with LVFH’s new HTML5 mobile gaming platform, which allows poker, blackjack and other games to be played on desktops, smartphones and tablet devices.

Jake H. Kalpakian, LVFH’s president, said mobile gaming is one of the ‘fastest-growing’ areas in the global gaming market and the new deal will allow both companies to take advantage of this trend.

“Due to the increasing prevalence of mobile devices and the ‘mobile evolution’ in the gaming industry, LVFH has been increasing its focus on mobile games over the last several years and already has many of its casino and poker products available on iOS and Android devices,” Kalpakian said.

“Our new HTML5 gaming platform offers the same high-quality gaming experience and even greater accessibility, as players can play our games from all major web browsers on PCs, Macs, iOS and Android devices without needing to download the app.

James Crawford, PokerTek’s president, added: “Our customers are demanding mobile gaming as part of their electronic gaming strategies, and we are pleased to add LVFH’s leading mobile gaming technology to our suite of products.”
