Mobile boosts US digital gaming industry

Zemanta Related Posts ThumbnailiGaming Business – Revenues generated by the US digital gaming market increased by 5.4% year-on-year last month, according to a new report from SuperData.

The study said that US mobile gaming had rocketed by 32% in revenue year-on-year, with the US digital gaming industry now worth $1.1 billion (€824 million).

The increase offset a 12% decrease in digital sales of PC and console games to $271 million.

King’s Candy Crush Saga was the top revenue-generator, bringing in $438,000 per day in the month of July.
