A William Hill NBA partnership has been secured via a deal where the sports book will become an official partner of the league. Under the agreement, William Hill will have the right to use official league betting data and league branding across its mobile platforms and sports books throughout the US. William Hill will also be promoted across the NBA’s various official digital assets, including the NBA.com website, NBA app and the NBA’s social media platforms. D.C. sports betting has been delayed by a Superior Court judge who has issued a two-week restraining order. That order would block the District from moving forward on it’s $215 million no-bid sports gambling contract with Intralot, the company that was hired to establish sports gambling in D.C. The order, issued last Thursday, was requested by tech developer Dylan Carragher, who said the single-source Intralot contract would prevent him and other vendors from being able to participate in the gambling and violated the District’s procurement laws. Oregon mobile sports betting has a launch date, as the state lottery is hoping to be live by next week. They originally estimated that Scoreboard, its new online sports betting game, would be out before the start of the professional football season, but after the sports betting market began on August 27, when the Chinook Winds Casino in Lincoln City launched its new sports book operations, a spokesman of the lottery said that the agency would not meet its goal of starting up in time for NFL season opening.
