Oregon sports betting is officially off and running ahead of the NFL season… at least at the Chinook Winds Casino. The move comes as the Oregon State Lottery plans to launch a new online feature, but that won’t be up and running for several more weeks. Right now, betting with Chinook Winds is only available in person at the casino. The casino did a soft open earlier this week that featured former Dallas Cowboys defensive end Ed ‘Too Tall’ Jones putting $5 on the Cowboys to win the Super Bowl this season. Rumors of PokerStars in Pennsylvania launching sometime this week have been greatly exaggerated. According to the Gaming Control Board, there is not any testing scheduled for this week.  Mount Airy and PokerStars are working toward launching sports wager and online products (online slots, table games, poker).  However, at this point,  I do not know if they will be testing all of their different products at the same time or a different times. Hooters Casino and Hotel be rebranded at the end of 2019. OYO Hotels announced Friday that it has partnered with Highgate to rename the property as OYO Hotel & Casino. Bet365 New Jersey operation is the second of three skins to begin operating in the state under the Hard Rock license. The timing of the Bet365 launch should not come as a surprise. Back in June, New Jersey Gambling Sites caught up with Hard Rock Atlantic City president Joe Lupo, who said, “… And we hope to see Bet365 before football season.” The US-facing website for Bet365 takes you to a mobile-optimized version on your phone. The West Virginia Lottery Commission has announced that they are very close to welcoming two sports betting apps from both FanDuel & DraftKings. It is believed that DraftKings will debut at Hollywood Casino in Charles Town, and that FanDuel will go live at the Greenbrier Resort casino.
