The Gaming Control Board in the Keystone state has reported a 23% decline in Pennsylvania fantasy sports contests for February. This is the vertical’s third consecutive month of revenue decline. Total revenue for February fell to $1.6m, with DraftKings leading the market in the month. The fantasy sports giant generated revenue of $906,451.16, or 56% of the total, though this represented a 12% month-on-month fall. An Ohio sports betting bill has been introduced by lawmakers in the state. The bill could lead to legalize the activity for the state’s 11 casinos and racinos, as well as permit online gambling. Venues that want to offer sports betting services would need to pay a license fee of $100,000, and licensees would be able to enter partnerships with operators in order to offer sports wagering.
