Scientific Games agrees North Dakota Lottery deal

lotto 4  iGaming Business – Gaming solutions provider Scientific Games has agreed a deal with the North Dakota Lottery to implement and operate an online lottery system.

The deal, which also includes the provision of services and marketing support, will begin in July this year and run for an initial eight years with the option of an additional two-year extension.

Under the deal, Scientific Games will provide the Lottery with its Sciplay interactive platform, which will include systems for internet subscription, player registration and player rewards programs.

In addition, Scientific Games will also be responsible for the installation and support of terminals, terminal communications and point of sales equipment for around 450 WAVE lottery retail terminals.

This arrangement will include 50 PlayCentral EX draw game only self-service lottery terminals and the Lottery InMotion system.

The firm will also upgrade the North Dakota Lottery to the AEGIS-IF central management system and provide its Points for Prizes program, which allows players to enter lottery tickets into a Players Club member section of the Lottery’s website to earn reward points.

Scientific Games has been the provider to North Dakota since the launch of the US state’s lottery program in 2004.
